You are strongly encouraged to do some additional research to learn more about firearms, right to carry legislation, gun control, violent crime, and other related issues. To get you started, you will find some links below to additional resources. Afterwards, be sure to come back here and sign the petition and take other actions to help make a positive difference in Illinois.

  • Just Facts - This site gives exactly what its title says: Just facts. It has no opinion, editorial, or bias. This site is also not a 2nd Amendment advocacy site, and has facts on many other issues as well.

    If you want raw, unbiased information, you will have a hard time finding a better resource.
  • GunCite.com - Contains a wealth of information about all manner of firearms issues. All information is backed up by credible, independent sources.
  • Gun Facts (pdf link) - This book, available freely online, "debunks common myths about gun control. It is intended as a reference guide for journalists, activists, politicians, and other people interested in restoring honesty to the debate about guns, crime, and the 2nd Amendment."
